Position Description:
This role has the lead responsibility to engage with Creative (Design) and the legal teams to support the identification of intellectual property (IP) opportunities in time across vehicle, product and brand designs. This role will be responsible for developing an internal process governing the IP identification for offboard, digital, branding, events and collaborations etc. Items in scope include design registrations, trademarks and patents that will be developed by the client's legal team with input from this role via the Creative teams.

Part of this role will be engaging with the Creative teams to help ensure that other companies protections are not infringed through identification and research to ensure that work that the client intends to protect does not infringe on other companies design registrations and trademarks.

The client is Looking for someone to be able to work with the Creative teams/ understand how the creative teams work with knowledge of what is required for a design registration and trademark and able to manage the tight timings required e.g. programme management focus.

Skills Required:
- Project management experience - working with various people/ functions to tight deadlines.
- Intellectual property experience - design registrations and trademarks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience Required:
- Industry design knowledge (automotive preferential but not essential).
- Creative mindset i.e. working with people from a creative background.
- Legal knowledge of intellectual property requirements i.e. design registrations and trademarks.
- Project management - working with multiple people/ teams to get information at the right but tight deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate, guide and coach teams with little to no intellectual property experience.
- Ability to develop a process covering intellectual property which is understandable and relatable to all users within Creative.

Experience Preferred:
- Legal qualifications for intellectual property.
- Automotive design experience.
- Ability to work at all levels i.e. management and senior leaders within Creative and the wider business.

Position Description:
The BoM Engineering team within Product Information is responsible for creating and maintaining the Bill of Material in the early phases of programmes. The team support Engineering within each Centre of Competence (CoC), building relationships with, and guiding Engineers through the BoM creation and management process. The team also perform a number of quality checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of those BoMs for a number of gateways within Programme lifecycles. The BoM Engineering team work on all current and future vehicle lines, across both brands and all manufacturing facilities globally. In this role you will be responsible for managing set up and changes to Bills of Material, challenging inputs where appropriate and seeking out information required to deliver a coherent and quality Bill of Material for both legacy and future systems.

The Test System Design team are a key service provider in Powertrain Test Operations within the Engineering Operations Department. The team are responsible for integrating complex prototype systems into the physical test environment. The team provide System Designs to the operational teams and outsourced test partners that form the Powertrain Test Operations team within Engineering Operations. You will be responsible for developing test systems to enable the development, verification and validation of future propulsion systems.

Skills Required:
- Experience delivering automotive projects and developing complex systems
- Experience designing and/or validating electrified powertrains.

Experience Required:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in areas such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Controls or Systems Engineering.

Experience Preferred:
- Competent with Microsoft Visio and Excel.

Support the DES model generation from concept modelling to fully detailed mimic of the programme / system that meet the design scope, operating principals, performance metrics, safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and environment objectives.

- Support the system optimisation, cost avoidance, best practises capturing and sharing this with relevant stakeholders
- Able to work effectively with design teams to develop and optimise solutions considering multi-attributes within defined deadlines and time constraints
- Guide the process using a product knowledge and awareness of potential design constraints to ensure due consideration is given in developing solutions
- Coordinate projects and teams feedback of results as required through design / project reviews / DES Dashboards
