The primary purpose of the role is to provide a holistic view of the material & colour developments, in line with Programme gateways. The team evolve A surface materials and technologies to a point of concept and application readiness. As the material concept(s) matures the attention will focus on the method of make and manufacturing technologies within the supply chain and assembly facilities.

The objective is to provide production feasible and process capable specifications, both physical & digital assets. Tracking the outputs and performance is a main part of the role. This is achieved through collaborating and partnering with the Materiality Designers, Suppliers and engineering departments.

Experience Required

Position Description:
Body Chassis Engineering are seeking a skilled and experienced Group Scrum Master to join the Interiors Domain. As a Group Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in enabling the engineering leadership team to deliver exceptional results within a Scaled Agile framework. You will collaborate closely with Squad, Group and Domain Scrum Masters, ensuring adherence to Agile processes while swiftly removing obstacles and distractions that hinder team progress. You'll also have an essential role in prioritising your groups workload, alongside your Group Leads and creating an engaging/innovative Agile environment.
This position requires excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for Agile practices in a fast-paced automotive engineering environment.
In the role of Scrum Master, you will not only enable the leadership team to effectively deliver within a Scaled Agile framework but also play a pivotal role in coaching and developing key stakeholders and other Scrum Masters. You will coach the Chapter Product Owner (PO) on their responsibilities, including maintaining a clear product roadmap, cascading information to other Group Scrum Masters in the domain, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring alignment on priorities across squads.
Additionally, you will provide guidance to the Chapter leadership on agile behaviours, empowering squads to be self-organized. This role has the lead responsibility for designing and developing sustainable and responsible colour and materials content within the materiality organisation for the client's house of brands for both core and special vehicles including bespoke. As a colour and materials lead designer you will create and realise innovative proof of concepts and material solutions for both interior and exterior applications from concept through to job 1 and beyond. This role will be focused on all aspects of the design journey from creation through to Realisation. Delivering more sustainable and responsible material initiatives and methods of make is key to the role.

Responsibilities:
- Research trends, consumer insights and competitor benchmarking to be aware of the current market and insights for next generation vehicles and help to create vehicle line material strategies for future implementation
- Research and develops new colours and materials, create mood Boards and create and realise material concepts
- Design, develop and implement colour and material design proposals for concept vehicles and design vision properties and assets - present ideas for direction and create multimedia presentations to communicate these
- Project management of vehicle & assets builds, and development related to colour and material design
- Support interior and exterior teams with property builds (including – developing material proposals, supporting business office to procure materials, collaborating with interior teams to define their callouts, being on location to support the builds)
