Motion Designer - £34/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire (Hybrid potential) - 8 Months (potential for yearly renewal)
The motion designer is responsible for bringing life to the brand identity vision through creative use of motion, interaction, choreography and transitions that create cohesion and delight.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with graphic designers to creatively translate static design content into dynamic brand expressions
- Create and implement motion design systems, animations, transitions and micro interactions that complement and work coherently into the design of HMI and UI UX content across various digital platforms
- Collaborate closely with graphic designers to translate static design content into dynamic brand expressions
- Maintain visual consistency across multiple interactions within brand experiences
- Stakeholder management across interdependent design functions.
- Excellent motion design experience gained in agency and corporate settings
- Demonstrable experience of delivering motion design solutions across multiple applications in both a 2d and 3d context.
- Knowledge of interaction design and animation design principles – timing, easing etc
- Strong proficiency in after effects, animate,
- 3D and animation skills in Cinema4d, Blender, Houdini etc.
- Good understanding of rendering process, technology and techniques. Unreal engine experience preferable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working across different cultures, geography and time zones.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced design environment.

- Beautifully crafted motion design assets that integrate with and support the broader brand identity system.

The Graphic Designer role is a hands-on creative role in support of developing all aspects of the brand id system for a single new brand. The role will be responsible for developing the visual identity of the brand across all graphic design elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for crafting and developing aspects of brand identity including but not limited to symbolism, type, iconography, colour, grid and layout.
- Explore extractions and pattern from brand elements for use across all brand experiences.
- Support the development and establishment of principles for typography.
- Support and create the foundation of visual language for icons.
- Ensure harmony across all elements of the brand identity system
- Work closely with the brand programme managers to ensure timely delivery.
- Excellent graphic design skills acquired in agency and or corporate settings
- Able to work proactively and at pace across multiple aspects of brand identity
- Ability to translate design visions and principles into tangible proposals

- Good communication skills and stakeholder management ability

Duties:
This role is within the Durability & Robustness attribute which is part of the wider Driven Attribute Integration organisation. The Programme leader role is to ensure all customer expectations for Durability & Robustness are met with appropriate target setting, design development and completion of whole vehicle verification activities using both virtual and physical test methods.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Support delivery of all Attribute Requirement targets by Gateway
- Support the Programme Attribute Team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved
- Detailed strategy & delivery planning for the attribute covering CAE, Road Load Data, Vehicle and System rig tests & driven vehicle DV activities
- Working with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in support of overall vehicle level targets
- Work with component engineers and suppliers as required to drive resolution of engineering issues
- Deliver technical recommendations and test and issue status reports

Skills:
- Knowledge/experience of automotive engineering test activities

Education:
- Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies
- Understanding of Durability & Strength principles
- Project management of complex engineering test activities
- Experience of problem-solving including application of Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DoE etc.
- Understanding of Systems engineering principles and delivery
- Microsoft package elements Power Point and Excel
Desirable:
- Knowledge/Experience of AGILE working principles
- Working knowledge CAD visualisation systems (e.g. 3Dx, TeamCentre etc.)
- Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross functional experience
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred

- Support the development, cascading and ownership of Human Factors requirements for User Controls, including updates as appropriate.
- Support the analysis of quality data relating to User Controls and use it to support requirement development and issue resolution.
- Assist with the Human Factors input into the development of new physical user interfaces, ensuring Human Factors requirements are met.
- Support the timely completion of Human Factors assessments (such as Human Error, Workload).
- Completion of requirement testing, and report writing.
- Support the resolution of issues with stakeholders.
- Support competitor benchmarking as well as attribute futuring
- Collaboration with UX Designers and Product Owners to integrate user controls into the wider vehicle user experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of ergonomics, human factors and user interface design.
- A basic understanding of the scientific theories and principles that relate to user interface design.
- Ability to communicate concepts and issues clearly.
