Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

Agile & Forecasting Engineer - £26.65 /hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire - 12 Months (potential for yearly renewal)

Position Description:
As the Agile & Forecasting Engineer you will support the Lead Agile and Forecasting Engineer in planning, monitoring, supporting, and closing out projects within the test laboratory. You will support the forecasting and quantifying of programme workload associated with the laboratory with short-, medium- and long-term forecasts.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Support the development of a robust and standardised forecasting model for EE/EV labs that is compatible across BTO
- Use PDL inputs to understand programme feature content
- Support the creation of a forecasting model based upon programme content and scalability linked to testing requirements in EE/EV labs
- Expected output is a robust forecasting tool and method delivering robust and accurate testing profiles for each laboratory.
- Ensure EE/EV labs are using client enterprise Agile methods.
- Support the creation of a JIRA Portfolio Plan for EE/EV labs linked to E and EO strategic themes and deliverables.
- Support the delivery of an operational cadence to ensure EE/EV lab deliverables are managed via Agile toolsets (JIRA/Confluence) and Tasks and Impediments are progressed as required across the client Enterprise
- Support the management of EE/EV labs ABR/QBR requirements and cadence linked to EO/E strategic themes.

Skills Required:
- Experience of Agile tools and methods and operational cadence across the client's automotive enterprise.
- Knowledge of automotive Programme feature content and gateway timings.

Experience Required:
- Experience using Atlassian toolsets for Agile operations (JIRA/Confluence).
- Experience of Agile tools and methods and operational cadence across the client enterprise.
- Knowledge of PCDS process.
- Knowledge of Programme feature content and gateway timings.
- Ability to work with key stakeholders and technical areas across Engineering to understand feature linkage to test requirements.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and associated test facilities.

Experience Preferred:
- Project Management Qualification.
- Scrum or Kanban training as well as JIRA Training
- Knowledge of automotive systems and associated test facilities. Agile & Forecasting engineer creates forecasting models based upon programme content and scalability linked to testing requirements in EE/EV labs. Supports and assists with enquires into Engineering Laboratories by engaging with the customers, programme teams and key stakeholders to understand their testing requirements. Support the delivery of an operational cadence to ensure EE/EV lab deliverables are managed via Agile toolsets (JIRA/Confluence) and Tasks and Impediments are progressed as required across the client Enterprise. If the position is not met then EE&EV will not be able to give a facility forecast / workload against programme timing

Additional Information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
