Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- As a Vehicle Engineering & Architecture (VAVE) Lead Engineer, you'll get the opportunity to apply and further development our vehicle architecture technology toolkit, ensuring the application of that toolkit is technically compatible with vehicle level attribute targets and programme deliverables.
- You'll get to liaise and interface with multiple functions to apply high value customer innovations and compile robust assumptions and data to develop the requirements and features chosen for implementation on/into the architecture toolkit.
- You'll be required to manage a complex flow of changing information, coming from all functions and maintaining records appropriately, whilst tracking and communicating this to all those affected, including issue of technical status summaries for project reviews.
- You'll be expected to manage the Vehicle Engineering technical delivery activities against a series of vehicle architecture and programme deliverables along with defining and applying clear and compatible technical assumptions as well as lead the successful resolution of technical conflicts and problems proactively.
Skills/Requirements:
- Prior experience of Vehicle Attributes delivery within the automotive industry
- Prior experience of Vehicle integration within the automotive industry
- Problem Solving experience
- Engineering degree or similar relevant academic training and experience
- Driving License
- Experience in Automotive or Aerospace Industry
- Experience in Software or wider Tech industry.
Additional Information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
Hybrid - Circa 3 days in the office, 2 days remote but depending on team activities this may change slightly week to week
