In the role of Scrum Master, you will not only enable the leadership team to effectively deliver within a Scaled Agile framework but also play a pivotal role in coaching and developing key stakeholders and other Scrum Masters. You will coach the Chapter Product Owner (PO) on their responsibilities, including maintaining a clear product roadmap, cascading information to other Group Scrum Masters in the domain, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring alignment on priorities across squads.
Additionally, you will provide guidance to the Chapter leadership on agile behaviours, empowering squads to be self-organized. Collaborating with Agile Coaches, you will work towards embedding Agile processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. By leveraging your expertise and experience, you will contribute to the growth and development of the team members, ensuring a truly agile environment.
Skills Required:
- Prior experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Coach role, preferably within the Automotive Engineering industry
- Expert knowledge of Agile principles and their practical application
- Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence to manage team backlog and delivery efficiently
Experience Required:
- Prior experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Coach role, preferably within the Automotive Engineering industry
- Qualified experience of Agile at Scale (e.g., Leading SAFe)
- Experience in enterprise-level stakeholder management
- Expert knowledge of Agile principles and their practical application
- Previous experience in a fast-paced delivery environment
- Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence to manage team backlog and delivery efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to learn and thrive in a large business environment.
Experience Preferred:
- Automotive engineering experience
- Product owner skills/experience
- Facilitation/Training experience
- RTE (Release Train Engineer) experience/skills
Additional Information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
Initial 4 weeks the candidates may need to be on-site 5 days. There is a need to gain confidence, be visible and learn about the complexities of our organisation. Hybrid working thereafter, 3 days on-site minimum (GAYDON) - 2 days remote.
