Position Description:
The Lead Integration Engineer is responsible for delivering Project and / or Programme Commissions, at Cell Design or Line Design scale. The Successful Candidate will lead the Design Integration; working closely with Tool Mechanical, Electrical and Controls Design, Simulation, Discrete Event Simulation and Layout. Co-ordinating delivery of the Projects, co-ordinating the System Design with the Customer Requirements, from Project Concept to Project Installation and Handover.

Skills Required:
- Lead multiple Design Projects and the associated Design Teams
- Lead improvements, create and update Standards, Processes and Methods of working
- Gain Customer Feedback, and drive that back into our working practices
Experience Required:
Resilient in pressured environment
Automotive Programme/project planning
Ability to complete Compatibility Assessments / Impact Assessments
Working knowledge of Automotive Assembly and Part Locator Strategy Requirements
3D Automotive Tool Design Skills from Concept, through Detail to Detailing and Delivery
Ability to generate and resolve Automotive Design Snags and Issues. Driving resolutions.
Deep knowledge of 2D Automotive Manufacturing (Detailed) Drawing and BoM.
Buy Offs and Handover. To manage buy-off and hand-over of designs with Customers and Manufacturers
Working knowledge of Automotive Assembly Tooling Standards
Experience Preferred:
Pneumatic Controls Experience
Electrical Controls Experience
Experience of Design Risk Assessment, CE Marking process, VISTAG compliance.
Additional Information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35
The role is offered on a Hybrid basis - 3 days on site in Wolverhampton with occasional travel to other UK client sites.
