Our global motorcycle manufacturing client is urgently looking to fill the following role:
Role:
As a Development Enginer - Motorcycle Engines you will be part of a highly skilled mechanical team, providing technical expertise on Engine build, maintenance, evaluation and testing of Vehicles/Engines, along with supporting the prototype builds.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out First-Time prototype builds of Engine and Chassis
- Prepare Motorcycles for Evaluation and Testing
- Attend Testing of Motorcycles in UK and Overseas
- Accurately document the Engine build processes
Scope:
Work closely with Engine and Chassis project teams, carrying out required works on prototype engines and vehicles including evaluation and testing.
Work closely with other team members including Dyno team, electrical and chassis build.

Education/Experience Required:

- Proven experience of working on the preparation and maintenance of motorcycles in a production-based workshop environment
- Experience with high-precision data acquisition and test equipment preferred
- Extensive knowledge of motorcycle engine and chassis construction
- Ability to operate and use diagnostic scan tools, scopes, meters, and other test equipment
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organise own workload, and meet deadlines autonomously
- Work in a team-based environment to achieve common goals
- Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a valid motorcycle driver’s license.
