Our prestige engineering client is currently recruiting for the following role:
PLM 3dx Support Lead - Remote working / Warwick - £370/day (Outside IR35) - 6 Months contract (potential to extend)
Role:
The successful candidate will be placed as a Lead for the Operations Support value stream in PLM IT Operations team. The person will lead the team members working in this value stream, manage the stakeholders within the department and other connected departments in the organisation, drive the team to deliver value across the value stream.
Responsibility:
Area of Responsibility
- Lead the Operations Support value stream for the customer IT PLM Operations department and report directly to department leadership team
- Establish and own the vision, product backlog & roadmap for your value stream area and ensure it is always up to date
- Engage with various stakeholders and Business representatives to deliver value
- Setup the process and lead the activities related to new capability transition from product engineering capability development teams to IT Operations team
- Facilitate the customer IT governance related requirements for the new capability transition with IT Service Delivery team
- Setup the process and lead the activities related to management and upkeep of test plans/suites
- Setup the process and lead the activities related to production and non-production incidents management and user access requests
- Drive incidents closure with all relevant stakeholders (Extended IT, Engineering, vendors etc.)
- Act as a SPOC for escalation for any issues around the value stream delivery
Experience / Skills Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in PLM production operations and Incident Management in automotive or other domains for tools like 3DExperience, Teamcenter etc. (essential)
- Demonstrable evidence of the ability to prioritise work based on value against effort
- Demonstrable evidence of negotiation skills when faced with multiple different customers’ perspectives
- Excellent delegation skills, negotiation skills and strong people management skills
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure commitments are met
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Experience of PLM Applications e.g 3D Experience, Teamcenter etc. for Automotive Domain.
- Should have great team leadership, inter-personal communication, and negotiation/influencing skills to guide, mentor and motivate agile teams.
- Exposure to Agile concepts and scaled agile approach
